With this configuration, you can have one effect (or set of effects) before the amp and the remaining three effects (or sets of effects) in the amp effects loop. Or if you prefer, you can cascade the effects loops together by leaving the output of the first section and input of the second unplugged or using another effect between sections (e.g., a volume pedal).

There is also a channel socket which is designed to replace the amp’s channel footswitch. In this way, the channel switching function can also be controlled by the unit. Alternatively, this can be used to control another separate looper.

The WOBO PROGLOOPER unit can be used to activate six combinations of effects (or sets of effects). Preset stomp switches are used to activate one of the six presets (1-6). Pressing the “0” switch ALWAYS switches the unit to Bypass Mode (i.e., all effects are bypassed). All presets can include any combination of four effects (or sets of effects) and/or amp channel switching. Every footswitch has also a mode DIP switch for choosing the preset footswitch work mode. In NORMAL mode (mode DIP set to on), pressing the preset switch turns off the previous combination. In ADD-ON mode (mode DIP set to off) pressing the preset switch does not turn off the previously activated program. Instead, it adds an additional effect combination to the existing active combination. In ADD mode the actions of the activated switch in NORMAL mode is unaffected.
